I've been consulting in one form or another since 1985 when I moved to Southern California, and am happy to report that I have my first customer. I am proud that my customers speak well of me and have agreed to be listed here: all will provide references to my skill, character, integrity, and judgement. My customers have been asked to be candid, knowing that I won't ask them or you what was said about me.

In some cases the customer has asked that the details of the engagement not be disclosed in a public forum: they might be more forthcoming on the phone, but in any case would certainly be able to comment on the character issues even if they choose not to discuss the technical ones.
