A friend loaned his network-engineering toolbag to a colleague for use in a field assignment, but the bag was accidentally left behind at a data center near my house. I was asked to fetch it and hold it for safekeeping until it could be returned to its owner.
Big Mistake :-)
While in my care, I felt an obligation to properly restock it after placing an order with an online adult-toy store (I was completely out of stock). Items were selected with an eye to concealing them inside a dark toolbag in the hopes that they would not be discovered immediately, and even then not all at once.
These pictures document the process of hiding the various objects in the toolbag.
After nearly a week of sitting in my house, the toolbag was carried up to Los Angeles and renitted with its owner. He was at a customer data center with another engineer (who had been in on it all along), who provided some brief ongoing updates via IM:
C: The balls are out! The balls are out! (Referring to the ben-wa balls) C: I just got hit with a flying condom! C: vibrator! C: butt plug!
A colleague being informed of these updates commented:
D: next thing you know they're going to find the anal lube and then we won't hear from them any more
At this point the updates stopped, because they had actual work to do.
The next day, the recipient called to talk about the items found, but it took several more days before he found them all.
He reported that both he and his wife got a huge kick out of it all.
